Drive belt tension specs for 1977 Delta 88?

Hello!

I'm looking for specifications for the proper tension for the alternator, power steering, and A/C drive belts for my 1977 Delta 88 Royale (350 cubic inch "R" engine).

I am obtaining a belt tension gauge (Krikit) and I understand that the manufacturer's specs are needed to properly set tension.

Does anyone know of a source for this information? I have an old Chilton's manual which includes '72 through '79 models, but didn't find any info about belt tension.

Any ideas welcome!

Thanks for the welcome, and for the data, xeroinfinity!

As I mentioned, I just obtained one of those "Krikit" belt tension gauges. I know that a lot of guys develop a feel for the right tension, but I always tend to tighten things too much, or in this case, make the belts too taut. So I'm hoping the gauge will help me set the tension a bit more accurately...

No problem!

Either too loose or too tight, thank god for belt tensioners
