engine

I just replaced the engine in my 2001 dodge neon with the same engine; the 2.0 S.O.H.C. After connecting all applicable connections, once the key was turned in the ignition, the motor would not turn over. I only get a clicking noise. DO you have any suggestions on how to get the engine to turn over??? I need help

Check your starter connections and battery connections.
