my 1987 s10 blazer broke down on me last monday and i thoght it was the fuel pump because i didnt hear it kick on when i turned the key on, so i bought a new one and put it in and the same thing happened. so i ran 12volts to my old pump and it worked fine then i thought it was the relay so i bought a new one and it still didnt work then i checked the fuses and my ECM B fuse was blown so i put a new one in and my car fired right up, started it about 12 times and then i turned it off thinking it was fixed well i came back an hour later and my pump wouldnt kick on so i checked the fuse agai nand it was fine and i am getting power to my relay so finaly i called my girlfriends brother whos a mechanic and he told me hes almost 100% sure i fried my gray wire going to my fuel pump so if anyone could tell me where it runs along that would be great.

New Gm use a gray wire for fuel pump feed But.
On a 87 S-10 Blazer I show a tan and white wire for fuel pump feed.
Check what color wires come out the fuel pump relay.

EMC-B fuse or orange wire feeds several other things besides fuel pump relay.
Like ecm and oil pressure switch for fuel pimp and a timer.

The fuel pump wire is ran into the wiring harness from fuel pump relay to fuel tank.
You could run a new wire on outside of wiring harness, from fuel pump relay back to the fuel pump.

Also have a good look at the oil pressure switch and wiring and plug in.

ya i found it and my problem was that my pump was bad, there was just a sweet spot whe nit was at it would work but if i moved the fan inside it it would stick, and that caused my fuse to blow so i put a new fuel pump in and it works fine now. thatnks for the help though
