I posted recentley, where my 1999 Jimmy 4dr 2wd.4.3 engine, had no power key stuck in ingniton. I had battery checked , new alternator, it started..but I still have a buzz i can hear outside the vehicle, cant tell exacalty where its coming. If i turn key to on i hear the buzz..turn key all the way..it dies..no ignite/power..wouldnt start after i changed alternator..took a couple of tries..had to pump gas..idle fine, havent drove it anywhere im at wits end:banghead:

the buzzing i would imagine is ur fuel pump, thats a good sign.
