I need to replace a speaker in the back of my Olds but cant seem to figure out how to get the old speakers out. I am thinking I need to go through the rear dash but i don't know how to lift that up. Do I need to remove the back seat or does that fold down? Please Help

speakers are usually mounted from the top on factory installs.
You probly will have to remove part of the back dash.
Here is a link (http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker?ForwardPage=/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/17/f9/49/0900823d8017f949.jsp)that I think might help.
hope that helps.

if you open up the trunk, there should be two boxes under where(lol) the back dash is. There are two little knobs on each thing, and you unscrew them and the boxes will come down, the speaker with it. I will put in some photos later, its really easy to do.
