Hi, I have a 92 Explorer 4 wheel drive and i am not getting fire at cylinder 5. I pulled the plug when the truck is running and i am getting spark but the engine does not change.I have new wires and plugs also.Could a bad injector cause this? What should i check for?Can the injectors be tested with a ohm meter? Thanks

Yep, a misfire can be caused by lack of spark, improper air/fuel ratio, or low compression. You can probably borrow a noid light set from your local auto parts store. These are used to verify that the injector is getting a pulse to activate. You can also use an ohmmeter to get an idea if the injector is short circuited or open circuit, but I don't have the specification on what the proper resistance range should be. Probably in the neighborhood of a few ohms.

While at the auto parts store to borrow the noid light set, see if they have a compression tester that you can use to measure the compression.
