FRONT BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR
This vehicle does not use a Front Blower Motor Resistor. The Front Blower Motor speed is regulated by the Front Blower Motor Speed Control which is incorporated into the ACM and is not serviced separately.

Blower Motor
The blower motor is located left of center in the A/C module. The blower motor is a brushless type and operates a various speed determined by the Air Conditioning Programmer. The balance of the brushless blower motor is very sensitive to handling. When the blower motor is serviced, care should be taken to minimize the amount of handling of the blower motor.

I can email you a flow chart that gives you the method to check the entire system, but the answer in every case is one of two things. Replace the ACM or repalce the blower motor. My guess is the ACM (AC Programmer Module) overheats and shuts the system down.

The ACM is attached to a bracket located next to the right end of the HVAC module assembly behind the glove box and can be identified by the electrical connectors attached to it.

Good luck...(It's not cheap) $794 list --be careful of a used one, electronics are not good after sitting in a salvage yard for a few seasons

Seems like you're the one asking for help. Take it to the dealership. They'll be glad to help you out.

It's really not nice to ask for help from people who submit advice on a volunteer basis! None of us here are getting paid to help people like you! We do it for the love of our cars, and our goodwill to help others.
If you don't want any bad advice, pay the money and take it to the Cadillac service techs who charge you $80 per hour! Or buy the service manual and troubleshoot it yourself.

How do you expect anyone to ba able to diagnose a problem when we are given less than one complete sentence describing the actual symptoms? Think before you speak.
