Anyone catch the season premiere of Bullrun on SPIKE last night? I thought it was pretty decent. The twelve cars featured were all nice and it seemed like a modern-time update to "Gumball Rally" (now i'm showing my age----http://paintballmilitia.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif ). My favorite had to be the Father/Daughter team with the suped up Trans-Am. That car was wicked and performed wonderful.

I wanted to see it, but I missed it. I'm sure they'll have an encore presentation on it sometime soon. But I had to work. But it looks awesome. I don't have SPEED channel, so my friend always talks about the Wed. lineup of Pinks, Whips, and Forza Motorsports and it pissed me off. So my only thing is this new Bullrun. But the team with the Trans Am is on LS1.com. They kinda talked about the show and stuff, but I'm sure they are under contract and can't say much of anything about it.

I will look on SPIKE.com, but I think I remember it rerunning at least a couple of times this week.

Oh and Poorm, Pinks kicks ass. Can't get enough of that show. Whips is ok but not my bag and the Forza is good also.

Yeah I saw that. Why did they decide to just rip off all the markers off the bus at one time I have no idea, I thought the time penalty would kill them. Then the idiots start burning out with a bad clutch.

Another one that got me was the Honda team (?) that got pulled over and they claimed "racial profiling". Right....................

Last nights episode was good. The Trans-Am team is looking great every time. Too bad the Mustang team broke down, I had them picked to go a lot farther. Loved the footage of the TA and the Lotus in the mountain pass. Just can't beat an awsome suspension.........

Mustang team broke a rod on one cylinder right at the start of the second challange. They got a tow but the time loss killed them. They probably couldn't continue anyway, it looked bad.

Well I missed last week but caught the highlights and Lambo team took the dive due to their clutch (finally).

As for last night I just about lost it when the TA team had that tranny hose break on the 2nd leg. I really thought they were done for but that time bonus saved them and the guys ability to fix it on the fly like that helped also. BMW got the boot after one of them had to leave for an emergency. In reality they forfitted, Honda was actually the last place team.

Another point is that TA's are kinda hard to "drift"----------:iceslolan

last week lambo got disqualified because the car crossed the finish line on a tow truck.
last night episode was a good one. When the TA team said they lost their tranny i thought they were done. Then it turned out to be just a line so im glad their still in it. it was disapointing when they missed the glass in the chalenge. I thought the Honda boys needed to go home but i guess it was a nice gesture by BMW to hand over their spot.

TransAm Dad could have definitely drifted into that glass, he wasn't in the right spot and didn't turn the wheel at all....it's like he was scared of the car getting damaged.

Maybe he should have let his daughter show him how. :wink:

Don't the newer TA's have that active traction control? That would add into keeping it from breaking as well.

Yeah, I laughed when he didn't turn it off. "Traction control won't let me break it loose..." I almost died. If worse came to worse, a good e-brake always does the trick.

Well, the purpose of the challenge was to 'drift' and break the ass loose...so traction control was dentramental to the goal.

with the asr on the only way he could have done it was to pull the e-brake. i think the girl drives better than he does though :lol: .

We had a power outage last night and I missed it. I need to catch a rebroadcast. But what happened in short?

all teams are suppose to obay the speed limits. on the first leg the honda and lotus were speeding and the f-150 boys caught it on tape and showed it to goldburg. both teams recieved 5 min penalties and were very pissed off. in the challenge the lotus beat the f-150 (which busted its grill and lights to pieces) and i think the charger beat the 57 chevy. in the end, the 57 chevy was eliminated.

If I remember correctly in the first episode they said they could speed but if they got caught it was their responsibility. What kind of race is it when you can't speed? Guess I would be kinda PO'ed also if that happened to me but then again I think the F150 team to be serious whiners.

the preview for next weeks episode showed team ta getting pulled over. the fact is the teams do speed but bullrun really has no way of enforcing it until the f-150 boys taped team honda and lotus. They just left it at if you get pulled over it will cost you time and your done if your car gets impounded.

well the honda boys finally got eliminated. trans am got pulled over but i forget what they did. I taped it so i'll have to watch it again.

I recorded it also and watched it this morning. So much for team Honda, but they just would never get along so you could see it comming. It was nice to see team TA come in first place for both legs of the race. Man, was the daughter in a seriously bad mood for the first leg, even when they did not get a ticket she still went off.

Team T/A got stopped for having their brights on. WTF? I didn't know that was illegal, and I live in southern utah, but then, i drive around with NO lights(yay small towns). I'm glad to see Honda go, now i'm just waiting for Lotus to go, that comment about having your unit waxed disturbed me. I'm hoping for team trans am or team f150 to win. I've always been a fan of ford trucks and texas. they just go hand in hand. Loved hearing team charger complain about the dirt roads and their $15k paint job. That'll learn em to enter a race if they don't want to damage their precious car. I have to put up with roads like that on a daily basis. P%@%ies

well this episode had alot happening. Team trans am got pulled over again, this time for 7-10mph over the limit but got of with a warning. The olds got pulled over because of reports that they were going over 100mph. Lotus started sand baggin to get a horible time then won the challenge against team olds. It came back to bit them in the ass because the lotus was eliminated. Good news is team trans am is still in first place :grinyes:

I'm in shock that the charger was eliminated. I thought it would be the Olds as they ran out of gas and went for a time bonus that wasn't there.

I finally caught the latest episode. What a really bad time for that charger to crap out. I am still putting my $$ on team TA to win.

Yeah, i was hoping Olds would go bye bye. Their ability to get lost never ceases to amaze me. That was bad luck for Charger. I hope that the Olds boys realize that they won because of luck, because had that charger been timed correctly, it would have SPANKED them. Hell, olds only beat a pickup truck by ONE second. My money is also on TA, though i like both TA and F150.

my money's on the ta. Olds should have been gone. I think its funny that when they get pulled over, the driver doesn't have his license and gives the officer his dad's phone number to get him out of trouble :lol:
