Okay, I have a 1990 DeVille 4.5 and everything is fine but once in awhile just out of the blue it just wont start.
I don't think it's the battery as everything else works when I turn the key it acts normal but when I turn it all the way to start it wont and I hear a "clicking" sound coming from around the glove department.
This happen to me a couple times and after a whiles of trying it started. It seemed to start when I jumped in the car in a hurry to start it. Maybe a wire? Maybe when I jumped in it, the wire re-touched?
I have no idea what it could be but it is a hassle when im trying to get home and my car wont start.
If this has happen to anyone and they know what the problem is please help!! Thanks.

Sounds like a bad starter.

CHECK TO SEE IF THE WIERS TO YOUR BATTERY ARE TIGHT , SEE IF YOU CAN MOVE THEM WITH YOUR HAND..
