Tranny question on 89 caddy

I've noticed my tranny is shifting a bit slowly lately. Wondering if this is the first sign of it going out... I noticed the fluid could use a bit more. The tranny fuild isn't too dark right now, but I am thinking of just havning it changed to expand the life of my tranny a little. Think that will help at all?

I just finished doing the sparkplugs on the car too (The old plugs were in horrid shape!) and that's when I started really noticing it. Maybe because the motor doesn't run crappy anymore. Definately worth the 3 hours to change the spark plugs.. Wasn't that impossible as some make it sound.

And since I'm posting here, insted of flooding... I am also looking for the arm rest covers for the front driver and passanger side doors... Mine are all ripped up.. and in this light tan color.. I can't seem to find them anywhere. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Adam

Changing the fluid and the trans filter are worth a shot. Probably will help and lots cheaper than the alternative.

For the armrest question, depending on where you live go to your local junkyard look for some decent armrests and bring them home. Mine were ripped aswell went to the junkyard found the same colour, red, paid bout $20 each and I have to say it was worth it because it looks mint.

As far as the arm rests go, yeah, I've gone to the junkyards, sadly most of them don't even have cars that old anymore they say. Oh well, I'll just keep my eyes open.
