Hey folks.

I was wondering, are there any teams, posses, gangs, clubs, clans, or other gatherings of racers out there amongst you and what cars are on the teams? I myself am the leader of a street team, the Parma Speedstars. (yes, as in Initial D's Speedstars, but we drift and we have no money, so it works.) We can easily make the claim of being the best drifters in Parma, Ohio (since we're basically the only drifters in Parma) and one of the faster teams. Here's the list.

#1: 1970 MGB GT, stock (that's my car, YAY!)
#2: 1989 Nissan 240SX fastback, basic boltons, being garaged over the winter in an effort to turn it into a JDM 180SX complete with red-top SR20DET.
#3: 1990 Plymouth Lazer, FF, stock. (He's learning)
#4: (purchase pending) 1987 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z. (the other option is a Honda CRX)

So, who else is there?

i am part of AOR ( all out racing ) if you look at my sig on my front windshield you can see my sticker. the thing about the team i'm in, is that we are also a group of friends. but the thing is there are alot of slow ricers in queens so it doens't matter cause we just burn them anyways. and most of the drivers in my team are sick!!!! here are the cars

#1 1995 Acura integra LS 4 door 5 speed (leader, hes the best driver, and hes the honda that beats me by alot all the time) his mods are I/H/E

#2 2001 Honda Accord coupe 5 speed ( nice driver in general, but once he gets road rage, he gets pretty crazy, another on of the hondas that beats me but not as much as the integ) his mods are also i/h/e

#3 1995 Honda Prelude v tec 5 speed ( stoped racing becuase his car is too low, but when he does race he usually burns the people that challenges him ) his mods are intake, exhaust, full coil over kit

#4 1995 Nissan 240sx 5 speed (me, nice driver all the time, no hardly ever challenges me on the highway but i do go to organized drag races sometimes) mods are listed at the bottom of my sig

#5 1988 Cadillac coupe de ville auto (this guy is sick, hes just as sick as the leader!!! he drives this old ass big heavy car with bad tires and still makes sick cuts and beats me becasue i'm afraid of his car!!!) *disclaimer as crazy as this guy sounds he does know what hes doin* right now he is saving up for a 95 Accord 5 speed so that his car won't be holdiing him back in the handling department

#6 1995 Honda Accord 4 door auto (this guy is more of a show car, and he occasionaly burns civics and maximas. how i don't know. i honestly think maximas can burn his ass but he doens't have to know lolz.) his mods are a full kit, i/h/e

#7 1992 Honda CRX with j spec B16a swap ( the leaders older brother. you can say that hes retired and that his brother took his place. but he is even sicker then the leader, and he has the second fastest car in the whole group) his mods J-spec B16a, valve springs, custom made cold air intake, straight pipe, custom exhaust, v-tec timer, msd ignition, fluidyne radiator, short shifter, rear strut bar, rear disc brake conversion, dc sport headers

#8 2001 Subaru WRX 5 speed, and 1996 nissan maxima auto (the rex is really his bros but he ends up driving it more then his bro does, and he takes his max to the tracks to drag, but he is also a pretty sick street racer as well) he has no mods on the rex becasue he doens't need, and he has a intake on his max

#9 2001 Mustang V6 auto (guy bought it brand new with is own money and he works at a bar in the city, that is why he chose the auto, he is tryin to get rid of it and his parents are buying him a new 03 mustang cobra. now that thing is goin to be sick!!! )

Nope, it is just me and Neutrino, we haven't formed a team. It sucks because his car is in the shop and I lost my sleeper.

We've got "TEAM_SYNOPTICS" down here.
The other team\club in our city is just a group of posers and they never did anything exciting. So we started our own.
We have 4 confirmed racers and a bigass stack of applications.

2K Civic EX (me) manual coupe
My mods are with my description. I'm the one that gut the idea started and off the ground. Nobody's really the leader but I do the shitwork organizing and setup for the events and shit.

'93 Integra Coupe 5 speed
Friend of mines car. The only thing he's got are Eagle 193 rims, expensive as hell tires and a kickass sound system. He builds custom systems for people's cars (which takes up most of his time) and as much as he likes to talk about himself as being good and getting all sorts of shit for his car, he's really only an ok driver.

'90 Accord Auto coupe
Another friends car. Sweet looking for it's time but the previous owner did some stupid shit to it and now it's broken down needing a new transmission. It's got coilovers, clear tails, white hood\trunk (lol, the previous owner stole them from god knows where) on a maroon body. It's got a shift kit and short ram and that's about it. It's still around but since it's currently nonfunctional and the owner has no money to fix it... were counting it out.

'98 (ish) cavalier auto coupe convertable
He thinks he can race... but he cant. lol, it was his mommys car anyways and when he got kicked out the car stayed so there's another thats out but soon enough he may either get an integra, 4WD Talon w\ factory turbo or some POS.

We got one or 2 more that are in consideration

'93 (ish) Accord 5 speed coupe
Another friends. He took most of the parts from the '90 accord when it broke, but of his own he's got CAI (short), some kickass 18" rims, 4 10" subs... He can hold his own in a race. He MAY or may not have an engine swap. I know he's got a few laying around the garage. But I'm too lazy to ask.

'97 (ish) Del Sol
The kid doesn't have much. An exhaust system and altezzas are the extent of his modifications. But what the hell, ya know? If it makes him happy...


We're all students and for the most part broke and since mommy and daddy don't pay for any of our shit (and thats the way we like it.) But we can hold our own aginst the bitchy little pricks in their daddys stock '89 preludes

I've also been invited to several other teams, and if Terminal Velocity ever does die I might join one, but for now, I got my car and my team. :bandit:

i've got 2 running cars... my Truck which as we know HAS beaten 2 hondas!... and the 70 Runs.. just has flat tire. So FACK JOO! You stupid beef jerky!! :D

when i sell my impreza-89-91 240sx hatchback with sr20, a little boost, a little nitrous, a few other things ;) PLUS an 87-89 conquest tsi for my race car

97 talon tsi-a little extra boost, a few electronics, IC sprayer, and hes got a t3/t4 turbo and a few other things on the way

96 celica-stock engine and slow, but saving up for a 3sgte swap from an earlier celica alltrac or mr2, to be run as a purely FWD setup

96 civic ex-fairly stock and slow engine, just intake and exhaust, but hes also saving for a swap, b18c

95 chevy truck with gmc front end conversion and a bunch of looks stuff, plus intake/exhaust/chip and a few other small things, but hes getting a talon tsi or eclipse gst/gsx as soon as he sells it



most anyone in the whole area of the state whos into street racing or imports has seen or heard of my car, so we're decently known around here. in the city of ft smith where we usually hang out, we've had a lot of people either want to join us, or ask one of us to join their team, but usually either their cars are too ricey or plain, or they just arent the type of person we wanna hang out with, so we only have a few.

I know how that goes. It's the same way around here... There are really only 2 car clubs in the area. Ours and the "Chaos" car club. (yea, original... I know) The cars are OK, nothing incredibly special but the drivers are such dicks. I got an offer but I'd rather start my own. It's more fun that way anyways and then you can actually [I]enjoy[I] the company of the people you're with.

yeah, i figure instead of payin this car payment every month, i could be dropping money into an engine that handles 20 psi on a stock block, in a small rwd chassis :) and ive always liked the s13's anyways, so i figured might as well.

theres alot of new guys here in the forums that are pretty cool. you should show them the picture of your team logo. that cat with a surgical mask. mr. happy mask. that thing is freaky~!

Team Venom: We are all pretty much a large group of friends that have known each other for years.

Leader: Has a 1989 240SX Fastback with exhaust and air filter mods. Working on getting an SR20 DET engine swap. Also has a Celebrity wagon that he uses in DB Drags.

#2(He's one of the people who helped get the team together): Two Fiero's that he claims have 0-30 second times that are the equivalent of a Lamborghini. They are pretty fast i've seen him take a hella lot cars.

#3: He's got a 1994 Chevy Cav. Z24 that looks sharp. clear tail lights, "17 polished chrome rims, exhaust, air filter.

#4: 1995 GMC Sonoma, sharp looking mods to the exterior but nothin done to the engine. Has a nice sound system to.

#5: (me) 1979 Chevy Z28 Camaro with 350 SB, 325hp- 415 ft. lbs trqe., and a 1989 Buick LeSabre T-Type. I'll soon be getting a '94 Accord V-Tec though.

Hey me and a couple of my friends drift we are about 45minutes from cincinnati. In our group we have a 1991 FC3S rx7 turboII, a 240 with a SR swap on the way and a audi A6 quattro twin turbo. If you would like to meet up some time in the future post here.

Hell yeah we Parmanians would like to meet up with fellow drifters. It'd be bombast stellar. It'd be nice to meet some Ohio import rodders who aren't ricers. They seem to be rare here in the North.

im forming a new club/ group named Infinite Possibilities. its me an 2 of my boys. the cars are a 99 Civic, 97 Accord, 99Accord(mine). If anyone is in the north Jersey or New York area is interested in joining holler at me. we are all about cars and having fun and we are just getting started.

Right now there is nothing around here except a bunch of lowrider truck clubs...not my type....

I just got a 1987 Celica GT-S...considering I don't have a license (D.U.I.) I have plenty of time to get my shit together.... The car runs great and is fast as hell...couldn't have got better for $600...maybe when i get what i want done to it ill start my own up...

We picked up another guy on the team! Our latest member is a fairly cool guy who's really new to the roddin' and racin' world. But he's got taste. His ride, which is in both better and worse shape than Layla, (blue metalflake paint that's in good shape, engine and transmission that need freshening) is a 1978 Datsun 280Z. We welcome this new Speedstar and pray that all his base are belong to us.

well im not personally part of a street team, but my dad is part of a racing team, and as so im kinda involved with it. www.lloydracing.com . Its been fun to go down to the local street racing gangs hang out in his F40 and blow them away. And also he likes to test his 620bhp 4WD race car on the road with a few short blasts, i hear many stories of leaving ricers for dead as he floors it up to 180mph+. He is also planning on buying an RS200, that should be really good fun!
