Brake warning light comes on intermittently

Hi there. Just wondering if anyone could help me with the problem I've been having with my 95 olds 88. For the past two days the brake warning light will come on after I have applied the brakes. This has happened 4 times already. I have checked the fluid level and it looks fine. I also checked the parking brake. I pressed it down to put it on and then released it just to make sure. Can anyone tell me where I should start looking?

When the brake warning lamp illuminates it indicates a hydraulic related problem with the conventional part of the braking system. Maybe a master cylinder issue.

odds are you have a very slow leak. when you push the brake the fluid flings to the front reservoir uncovering the sensor. if not, then look up in a haynes manual what could cause this condition. its a tough call because you don't want to lose braking power will driving(obviously).
