yeah, the blue one is the 72. The gray battle barge is the 70.

its hard to tell by those pictures, but the 70 has some body imperfections that would cost me approx. $2800 to fix the minor rust spots, some dings, and a whole new interior. THe 72, 2 spots of rust the size of a quarter, a straight body, and a practicaly brand new interior... only problem a blown up 350, for $2000. I hope you can see i save myself 800 bones plus my time and labor.

A blown up motor, i can fix. Interior work just pisses me off!

The 94/95 cobras use the GT hood The 96-98 cobras have the scoops on top. Also the bumper on the 94/95 cobras reads "mustang" while the 96-98 cobras read "cobra" on the bumper. Its kind of sucks since many people think its a v6 or a GT.

its black with silver flakes...but you really cant tell....i wish i had a 2000, they started putting blue flakes in the paint, that looks pretty good....

As the other regulars here caught on, I was kidding about the whole cooler car thing, as I tried to convey with my smilies, and humbling my car by praising a honda over it :uhoh:

It needs paint, an interior, and a lot of performance work... It's already been partially converted to a track car, with the weight reduction, but it still has the engine stock. The factory boost level is around 7 lbs, and it makes 150hp... With an intercooler, when I raise the boost to around 12 lbs, it should make around 200hp. I also plan to raise the compression, and get a Saab APC boost controller(cheap, pretty good, mostly just cheap :) )

Give it a few months and $3000, and it'll be cooler than your 911 :)

I'm pulling out of my super steep driveway today and I gotta go really slow down it so I don't scrape the exhaust tips on the pavement. I've already done it once but it was a really minor scratch nothing to go crazy about. But this time my damn 300 lb friend is in the passenger side, the truck actually bent down on his side and the fuckin tip scraped the pavement on his side. FUUUCK. Man I'm so pissed from what I heard, it isn't going to be a pretty sight. I haven't had a chance to take a look at it since it was pitch black out, but I will definately be checking in the morning.

Moral of this story. If you know something on your vehicle is very capable of scraping if you don't drive slow going over for example, a driveway. Don't let your 5 million pound friends in the car until you get off the driveway.

Yea, how does that 400 bump? I wasn't expecting much out of the 150 but it pounded harder than I thought. I love Rockford Fosgate. I'll never settle for less. I don't want anything more than 150 because I don't like my shit rattling. I already had to put dynomated shit around everything and I've still got a few things that rattle around.

and yeah i had to dynamat the doors/side panel, and now i have to dynamat the roof...on some bass tones, the roof actually bounces around as if someone was jumping on top if it

and yeah, rockford fosgate is the best in car audio...no doubt about it

(P.S. i know people don't appreciate things rattling in their car because some kid with some subs drives up next to him, so i only turn it up at competitions or parties and such)

Oh yea, I know what you mean. I beat my subs but I never beat them loud and when the senior citizens are around and whenever I can remember when I come up to a stop with cars next to me\behind me I turn 'em off. I hate being "that damn punk kid".

My roof rattles too. It took me FOREVER to figure out that it was the roof! Usually I can hear the rattling and go find it and stick some stuff around it and shut it up but I kept hearing this rattling and had absolutely no idea where it was for 2 weeks. lol

Good news, I checked the tips and from what it seemed it was scratched up pretty bad. I rubbed where it was scratched and it started to come off. Wtf? I look at my fingers, it was just dirt, the exhaust tips weren't scratched at all. I don't understand how but there was nothing there but dirt, its weird cuz I know I heard a loud scrape yet it did nothing.

Who's complaining though?

whoa, i haven't been on AF in, oooh, 3-maybe 4 weeks? so i log on tonight and check my replied threads, of course there are lots :bloated: so i randomly pick one (this one) and there is a post addressed to me from 3 days ago! wierd huh?

new mods... i'll have to post this and see how my car looks in the sig before i can answer that.

edit: okay! i don't think anything new to the exterior. interior, i did a better job molding my screen in and painted a few parts a nice sparkly silver. i might be getting a new cd player this weekend... uhh full header back exhaust with no cats... feel like i'm forgetting something but don't know what... i'll have an MSD ignition this weekend, possibly some wrx front seats within the week. i'll be ordering some performance oriented brakes soon, cuz i need new brakes anyways :p and i'm saving up for a group buy deal where i will get forged 8.5 compression pistons, rods, rings and pins. after that my friend is saving an almost new T04 60-1 turbo for me when i get the money, and then i'm piecing together the rest of the kit. i may be able to talk his tial wastegate and txs blowoff valve off of him pretty cheap too.
