I just purchased a '55 belair/210 sedan. the interior is flawless and the exterior paint and body work is clean. However, there are no bumpers on the car and I was wondering if anyone knew of where I could find front and rear bumpers and/or the mounting brackets.
I am planning on making this a resto-mod car and I was wondering what peoples opinions are about where I should start. I was thinking about upgrading the suspension, brakes, and wheel/tires. Then i was planning on upgrading the engine and drivetrain.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

These are a couple of sites you can check out. Also a current copy of Hemmings might have some things in the parts for sale area. Do a Google for 55 chevy restoration and you'll come up with more stuff. Have fun and enjoy your 55.............Steve

PS: YOu say it's a Bel Air/210. It's got to be one or the other. Here's another link to help you figure it out.
