alright i have fixed everything eslse so time to adress the last problem (hopefully) my car seems to sputter and bogg out when i try to slowly accelerate at 55 and sometimes when i try to take off from a stop light. when it sputters at 55 all i have to do is get on it and when it downshifts it doesn't sputter. At first i thought it was bad gas but i use nothing but premium 93 octane gas and i also but octane booster with it. i dont know what to do? I have been given a few suggestions 1: replace fuel injector jets (very very expensive) 2: sparkplugs and wire (preffered fix) but i figured i would get some info from you guys---------1995 4.9L deville

Check the EGR passages under the throttle body first. When you open up the butterfly on the TB, you will see a pipe in the center pointing upward in each bore of the TB. Those are the EGR passages. They tend to get plugged up with carbon after many miles, and cause stumbling like you describe. It's mostly off-idle that the car stumbles, but I guess it could affect the engine at speed if they are pretty clogged. To clean them, just use a bottle brush and some carb cleaner.
The spark plugs and wire change is a good idea. You didn't say how many miles are on your car, and how many since it's last tune up, but that will help.
The stock fuel injectors are expensive, but Ford 5.0 fuel injectors fit and work on the 4.9 Cadillac engines. My '94 Deville with the 4.9 currently is running with Ford 5.0 fuel injectors. I bought the set of injectors fresh off a new engine for about $120. I don't think the fuel injectors are your problem, but that option is good to know incase you ever do need to change them!

Good luck!
