Starting Problems

A couple of days ago the van (1998) developed a starting problem: after the van has been driven and is parked for about 30 minutes it will crank, but not start. There is the smell of gasoline when you walk up to the vehicle. It will not fire at first, you have to crank for a while (5 - 10 seconds and the smell of gasoline is present as well), then it starts but dies right away unless you push the accelerator down a little, but the engine runs rough for about 10-20 seconds with the accelerator depressed in order to keep the rpms up.
The engine starts fine when it is cold !?
There are no trouble codes set.
Any ideas ?

Update: I hooked up a fuel pressure gauge and found that when the fuel pump runs with the ignition on, the pressure is fine, but it does not hold. In fact, you can even here the fuel flowing into the engine as the pressure goes down. So, my guess is that one of the injectors is bad - worst case or the pressure regulator.
Any thoughts?

Update II: Got the van back last Friday, it turned out to be the fuel pressure regulator which dumped the gas into the intake.
