I was wondering if there is any difference between the brakes on a 1977 Dodge W150 400 and 440 engines. What I'm trying to ask is does the engine make any difference in the brakes? Thanks

They should be the same on big block trucks like that.

In a few cases engines make a difference. If you really want to know, you can go to a parts store and ask them. If it makes a difference they will need to know the engine size to sell you brakes. In your case I would bet it makes no difference.
