My dad's car recently started knocking really bad. Is it relatively easy to replace with another SR20DE? Also, will any SR20DE I find for sale be Plug and Play? We had to replace the alternator and that was a really tight squeeze.

He is also considering selling the car for cheap. If anyone's interested let me know. It has around 175,000 miles on it. I really thought this engine would last a whole lot longer than it did.

he's in ohio... so it'd be a bitch to ship.

the engine should last, as long as it's maintained properly. who knows what the engine has been under.

there's a write up on the sr20forum and on g20.net
