Under the dash, check the vacuum lines to the various vac servos for the climate control. Pay special attention to the ones on the passenger sideat the heater core plenum.

it could also be a problem with the bower or physical blockage in the vents. problems like these have multitude of possibilities.

hope this helps

Its designed to not blow heat through the dash vents. Only cold air (A/C) will through the vents. Heat will only blow from the floor and the windshield Defrost. Cadillac didn't want the old people falling asleep at the wheel by blowing warm air in their face.

I hate to prove you wrong but overriding allows you to accomplish what Cadillac tried to prevent.

Follow the directions that I posted above but start with the Caddy blowing full cold (in the economy mode so that the A/C compressor is off). Then, try these setting because they are even better (I tried it today and they work perfect AND blow hot air through the center vents) are: AS01 set at 45 and AS12 set at 17.

If the car doesn't blow hot air after the car is warmed 20-30 minutes - the heater core is bad.

If the car blows hot air but then cools when driving - the thermostat is stuch open.

I hope this helps.

Oh I agree and know that'll work to get heat to blow out the dash vents, but thats a lot BS'ing around each time just to get some heat out the vents. I was basically trying to describe how its designed to work to answer the original question.
