Help! no heat in my new car

I just bought an 02 3.5. 4 days ago i lost heat on the passenger side. Driver side blows hot air but passenger blows cold. I read on here about the valve actuators and tore apart the drivers side kick panels and squeezed in to find 2 of them. Both seem to work, the bottom one seems to be what allows hot and cold air to pass and the other seems to be what direction it blows ie., defrost, front, lower, etc. I dont see a third for the passenger side. Is it located on the driver or passenger side? Is it a bear to replace? I can get the parts frommy uncles salvage yard but have to get to the part first. Please help as I am disgusted in paying for a vehicle that I love, with no heat.

UPDATE: After I put the driver Side Dash all back together, I got fed up and took out the Glove box and sure enough the passenger has its temp control on its own side. I then checked to see if it was working by turning the temp to hot and it did nothing, so i then removed the actuator ( 2 bolts I beleive 7/32) and moved the shaft myself and what do you know HEAT.

If anyone else has this problem lett me know I can walk you through it, very simple, just wished I had looked at the passenger side before driver side. My back hurts!
