juz like the title says also, is there a good faq for metal models like there is for plastic ones? i need a tutorial on stripping and painting die-cast models.

I've also heard people using nail polish remover, but not sure how long the process is.

i'll have to watch for the faq too, in the meantime do you think it is okay to instead of letting the sucker dry for a month, put it in the oven and bake it sum? or would that mess up my oven? :D

Baking is a good way to get the paint to harden. But please take the necessary steps like preparing the bare metal, primer, then painting and putting some clearcoat and then buffing. You shouldn't have much of a problem.:)

in case you were interested, not sure if you are working on the faq, but here are sum questions that'll hopefully be answered in the faq about baking?

1. will baking it in an oven at home going to mess up my oven? will it make it smell like paint so like next time i try to cook sum cookies my cookies will be toxic?
2. if yes, maybe a cheap toster oven... another alternative?
3. if yes how long and at what temp do i bake it?
4. does the clearcoat and polishing go on before baking?
