PO741 Torque Converter Clutch Stuck Off HELP

Hello I'm getting an PO741 SES which is the Torque Converter Clutch Stuck Off. Anyone have any clue as to how to fix? The car rides and drive fine. I have a 1999 with 185,000. Any info would be appricated.

I think that the only problem you'll have is loss of fuel economy. Mine is stuck in the ON position and stalls at every light.. $1500 to fix..

Its not stalling at any light and is driving perfect. I was reading up here on older posts, do you guys think it could be the TCC Solenoid? And if so which one?

Unless you are able to drop the tranny, replace it. I had the same problem with my 98, dealer wanted 2000.00 to replace an 8 dollar part. For 1200 more I got a brand new trans from Detroit with 69 updates. What a difference. Mine began flashing the code at 115K.:banghead:

I have a 1999 montana,it runs fine but have po741 they want 1800 2 fixit but it looks like it could be the tcc,where in the transmission that part it located?
