Well, first things first. What's the year, the mileage, the title (clear/salvaged) and the overall condition of the car.

"Bunch-o-engine mods" doesnt really mean anything around here, you have to be a tad more specific than that. Built motor? Turbo? Supporting mods? Etc.

Couldn't have said it better myself. As long as it runs decently, who cares what it looks like, it'll be a steal.

You know what they say. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true. Just hope that engine doesnt need a rebuild right after you get the car. 2c.

:1: Trying to sell it for $1000 with "a bunch of engine mods" sounds like a bad idea. For example, my car. $750 and a blown head gasket. Yup, too good to be true. Just a few miles after I got it running from fixing the head gasket, the oil pump jumped off a cliff which in turn took the bearings which took the crank, block, and head with it. I would have a trusted mechanic check it out good for sure before you do anything with it.

dont like how that sounds. cause i bought my 2g for 1300 and needs a new head gasket. so i hope it wont be a repeat of wat happened to you.

o, and it response to nhlcrazys thread, even for a 1000 its still good even if u have to some money in it depending on the mods, its totally worth it.
