i looking at 98 se 3.1 the abs,trac light is on also how is this motor.thanks joe

This sounds like a bad ABS sensor. They are part of the hub assembly. I would spend a couple of dollars and have someone with an ABS capable scanner see what is going on before purchase. If it is only a sensor it will cost around $200 for the part and then labor to install. If it is the ABS system it could cost thousands.

Hey, I have same problem. But I found out that my whole connection to the ABS and Traction sensor was completely broken in half. If this is the case I was told that I would have to replace the whole wire harness rather than splicing on a new connector.

P.S. Only a gm dealer sales the part for around $45.
