Porsche Dauer Le Mans (962)Bob_Jones 02-06-2007, 10:57 PM After quickly doing the Marcos TSO i decided to do a larger project. Having wanted to do a Porsche for a while started on this 962. Finally after a few days of leaving the drawing alone i got my arse into gear and finsihed it off. Im really hapy with how it has turned out, especially because i never do such large drawings. Hope everyone likes it and comments are appreciated :) http://img412.imageshack.us/img412/1402/porsche962finishjk2.jpg (http://imageshack.us) i-is-in-da-house 02-06-2007, 11:21 PM Nice reflections, good work, want to see to done. SieG 02-07-2007, 05:40 AM looks really good, much better than marcos! love the wheels, i drew those wheels before and i know they arent easy! :) Canay 02-07-2007, 08:11 AM up to this point ... VERRY WELL DONE!!! JDMWong 02-07-2007, 02:57 PM What colors did you use along with the base yellow? Bob_Jones 02-07-2007, 11:56 PM Thanks for all the positive comments everyone, appreciate it :) @JDMWong - Im using derwent pencils and the main dark yellow/orange is Deep Cadmium, the light yellow is Lemon and cadmium and the dark orange/brown is Golden Brown. Hope thats helpful :) JDMWong 02-08-2007, 06:27 PM Thanks, that helps a lot. Up until now I've avoided yellows because I've been using gray to get the shadows and it looked terrible and now I know why haha. Great start to the drawing as well, can't wait to see it finished. 69charger426 02-08-2007, 09:11 PM Perspective looks good, it looks like it needs a lil more value on the side. nice start tho, cant wait to see it finished Bob_Jones 02-15-2007, 11:14 PM Update in first post Dont forget to comment :) pac4life 02-15-2007, 11:19 PM It looks so good. The finished product is going to look mean. Bob_Jones 02-16-2007, 03:40 PM Thanks for the comment, even though it is meant to be finished already.... Keep them coming :) Blip 02-16-2007, 07:47 PM Good work, nice coloring and overall proportions. There's one small thing that's distracting to me, the way the reflections on the side glass block part of the helmet. Makes it look as it the helmet is too small for the rest of the image. Maybe have more of the upper helmet outline visible, but I guess alot depends on your ref picture, too. Bob_Jones 02-16-2007, 07:58 PM Thanks for the comment Blip but im not sure what you mean by the helmet? In the side glass its showing the seat (or i think so judging from the ref pic) and theres noone in the car. At least thats what i think it is Keep the comments coming :) Blip 02-16-2007, 08:06 PM Okay, understand now. Just to my eyes, it looked a yellow helmet and part of a visor was visible thru the side window. I didn't see it as a seatback. SieG 02-17-2007, 11:37 AM really cool! sketchmaster 02-17-2007, 01:18 PM Nice !!!!!!!!! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
