TPS price for 1999 cummins.k4rbm 02-06-2007, 04:27 PM I know a bunch of ya'll out here has replaced one of these. My truck has had the old no torque converter lockup for about a year and a half. I have been driving it with the "Mystery switch", switch to ground the torque converter lead, with out any problem. I have read all the horror stories about replacing trannies, torqueconverters, tps, apps ect. So now my truck has finally set a p122 code hard. I have reset it 2 or 3 times but it keeps coming back. Ok now I will give up and buy one hoping it will also fix my torque converter problem. The cheapest price I can find is $450 bucks. Insane considering all others costs 40 to 60 bucks. Any help or ideas? k4rbm Stevo2 02-10-2007, 06:27 AM I know a bunch of ya'll out here has replaced one of these. My truck has had the old no torque converter lockup for about a year and a half.
