the stock boost on a stock s40 turbo is 8.7lbs. the max boost on a stock s40 turbo is 14lbs. i have a 2001 s40 wit 14lbs and it runs amazing when the temp is above 60 degrees. but any thing below, the turbo back spins. if any one wants a home made boost controller ask me how to make them. they are really simple to make, and the items to make it can be found at home depot. mine costed about 12 bucks to make, but you also want to buy a boost gauge to make sure you dont boost too much. boost gauges range in price but the least expensive good ones are prolly at auto zone and cost about 50 to 70 bucks.

WELL I HAVE A 2000 V40 AND JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE IF THE STOCK BOOST IS THE SAME AS THE S40... AND I'M INTERESTED IN HOW'D U MAKE A BOOST CONTROLER... LET ME KNOW, THNX....
