I just put in a cold air intake on my 3.3, being 5 - 15 below zero, can that cause my car to die? Plus, my idle speed is really low (maybe around 600 - 800 rpm's, not sure without tach though), is it possible to bump that up just a little bit? And my check engine light came on too, What would the code be if i was getting too much air? And what is the paper clip trick, I just want to make sure that it is the filter doing that and nothing else.

Disconnect the MAF sensor just past the air filter. .

Good Luck

I thought that would make it run like crap. And wouldn't the computer not seeing the MAF would turn the check engine light on too?
