One Hundred and Eighty!!!!! (many pics)flyonthewall 09-29-2002, 12:59 PM Finally finished this off today, its been in a state of limbo for months awaiting molds etc. I've gone for a show car feel yet it goes out drifting on weekends!;) Paint is Peugeot Topaz Blue from Halfords which looks silver in the pics but has blueish hue similar to Walter's Revell 360 and does look a stunning colour in the flesh! This is the Tamiya kit and its fitted with my resin transkit which is based on Bomex items and soon available to all!!! http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/6125392.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/7429303.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/2748604.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/2865335.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/5376316.jpg Rims; 18" AME Modelart Excellent by Aoshima treated to a spray of TS-42 light gunmetal. http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/2376557.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/2650738.jpg Interior; Used Humbrol enamel's, the white had a few drops of the same blue used on the seats to give it a very slight blueish hue but its not quite so evident in these pics. Self adhesive carpet has been added to the floor, door panels and parcel shelf. Etched belt buckles and webbing are from MRM. CF decal added to gear stick knob. http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/18344811.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/77053812.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/9675981.jpg Hope u like? http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/7756069.jpg nikanora 09-29-2002, 01:02 PM wow. daggerlee 09-29-2002, 01:03 PM :eek2: *takes out the sewing thread and scriber* :D tomazws 09-29-2002, 01:22 PM     Super detailed interior!!!! LMK when it's available. i tried to do a show car interior like that on my S14 Silvia (white and french blue), but it didn't come out looking anywhere near as nice as yours did. very VERY nice work. flyonthewall 09-29-2002, 03:04 PM Originally posted by S13_Iketani Veyron - boring car??? you're crazy! the 180SX is a beautiful machine. i'm hoping to buy one in the coming months. anyways, FOTW, friggin awesome work dude. i have a Fujimi 180SX Type-X kit in the ranks waiting for assembly and i'm very interested in that transkit for mine. i don't like the stock bumper the type-x comes with. I agree, it is a cool car! Still awaiting Dan's (daggerlee) results on wether it will fit the Fujimi kit. Our initial thoughts are that it shouldn't pose too much of a problem but it is intended to fit the Tamiya kit so if you see one of those, grab one while you can coz they aint makin em right now! tonioseven 09-29-2002, 04:15 PM I'm at a loss for words!:eek2: :eek2: :eek2:  AccordTypeR 09-29-2002, 04:18 PM :eek2: wow~!~!~! Tite work~! I like interior~!:D wkma7six 09-29-2002, 04:20 PM Chris, I don't think I've ever seen a finished project from you since I became a member back in April of this year. Well executed! Excellent fit and finish of your resin pieces. If I could do that car with that specific kit, I think I would like to use some BBS type mesh rims with a nice deep lip. I think I'm gonna go get a 180sx just for that! When is it available? I say, "Bring on the Bodykits Chris!". -Walter kicker1_solo 09-29-2002, 05:02 PM wow, I love the interior. :) flyonthewall 09-29-2002, 05:13 PM Originally posted by wkma7six Chris, I don't think I've ever seen a finished project from you since I became a member back in April of this year. Your absolutely right! I forgot to mention that in all my time of being a member here and with over a 1000 posts this is the first completed kit i have shown. I did complete an Impreza that was left 70% completed in a 2 year hiatus but i never had my digi cam then. The lack of completed models is just down to the direction i'm heading in with Scaleautostyle, many of my nearly finished race and rally cars have been shelved while i concentrate on it. OPM 09-29-2002, 05:55 PM very nice work,i love the color magicmanjk808 09-29-2002, 08:02 PM awesome work. looks like i gotta find me a tamiya 180. it's nice to finally see a completed model from you, although the unfinished models are just as awesome. primera man 09-29-2002, 09:31 PM I was starting to wonder myself when we were going to see a finished project ...but the wiat has been worth it.....SUPER !!! HLJ (www.hlj.com) no longer sells the Tamiya kit so I was thinking of just going for the Fujimi kit. Jay! 09-30-2002, 08:53 PM I'm blown away, Chris.
