Anyone know where online to locate the 7/70 Chrysler powertrain warranty for an '04 ?

I've got a buddy that works for a dealership kinda local. If nobody else gets it before, gimme a day or two... He just busted two ribs in the job. (cursed tranny stands!)

I've got an 04 Wrangler (no joy in that forum so came here). The belt tensioner is going bad and they say it's not covered by the powertrain warranty. I say it's part of the engine and should be covered. I'd like to get a copy of the warranty (yes, am searching paperwork @ home) and show it to them to have it covered.

I also reported the problem at about 18K, well within the 3/36 free period.

Sometimes it is cheaper and easier to fix it than to hassle with the 'stealership' folks....

Is that tensioner like the 01 XJ??...that is a $12 part....serp belt is like $26 online....

I do it in about 27 minutes....the last one anyway.
