1992 leaf spring removal technicerubin 01-30-2007, 12:58 AM the rear leaf spring is creaking at the end bushings. The official way to remove the leaf spring to replace the bushing requires a special tool to compress these leaf springs. the tool is not readily available and lists for $800. has anyone improvised a way to R&R the rear leaf springs without the fancy tool? thanks john51md 01-30-2007, 07:13 AM the rear leaf spring is creaking at the end bushings. Very easy to install...very inexpensive ! Phillip vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
