They actually started out as a ship building company in the 1800's. I did a report on them in my global business class last semester, good times.

Those planes were kick ass. One time this guy told me he would never buy a mitsubishi because they made the planes that bombed pearl harbor. That guy is a freaking tool.

We sell Mazda and Mitsubishi cars at my dealership and i just thought i would add that if you pop the hood on a mazda RX-8 you will see several "tripple diamond " logos some parts. It is mostly electronic parts but still. Mitsubishi if I am not mistaken is the oldest Japaneese carmaker in Japan and you can see thier influence everywhere.
