quick question. Im looking to upgrade my turbos. What size are the stock turbos on a 2001 WRX? What about STi?

I know they are size upgrades from the 9b's that i have now, but im looking for something with a TD-04 housing so i wont need adapters and such.

Off the top of my head I think 02-05 WRX is TD04 and 04-05 STI is VF34. I don't know if they changed in 06. You won't find any from 2001 in the US.

The stock turbo's in the Impreza's are all water cooled, if you're not looking for a water cooled turbo setup, which I believe is what you'll want if you're putting it in a Mitsu, you're better off looking elsewhere for a turbo.

i am looking for coolant and oil cooled like my stockers.

WRX turbos work great in 3000GTs. I have no idea about the size variance or the setups, but I know a guy who has one in his base model GT, and it's now fast as all get out (and still front-wheel drive). He has '02 WRX parts. He did the install after I moved out of the state, so I've only ridden in the car; I didn't get to see the install.
