I have 2002 Neon ACR. I want to add a tachometer for it. I tried to hook it up to the "ignition coil pack, but just got a little signal and when i reved it i got nothing.
Then I took off my instrument panel and looked for a cable and found nothing.
Any you folks now what the deal is?

Your tach manufacturer may have a web site, try talking to them.
You can go to your search box, type in, " where to hook the green wire", there will be some info. Your tach may have to be set-up for your system? Places like autometer might have some suggestions.

it's because the coil pack has 2 sets of drivers.

the drivers are the same as a tach signal. this is normally where you would connect the wire from the tach to, but you can't because it reads only 1/2 the rpm on each wire at the coil. Therefore, you may need to purchase a tach adapter I think.

if you know a person who is good with electronics I think you may be able to make your own tach adapter. I would think that you just need 2 zener diodes, some wire, solder, and heatshrink
