I had wirtten some time ago that one dashboard light (that illuminates the right of the speedometer) went out in my 02, but nobody has answered.
Well, now apperently a second Dashboard light, the one that illuminates the right side of the fuel-o-meter went out as well.

I just need to know what to do, do I need to get a whole new Dash, can I open it and change the bulbs, are there repair manuals out there on how to assemble and dissemble the dash??

Anyone, PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I also have the same problem with 2002 venture. The Haynes Manual for this vehicle has a detailed procedure on how to remove the instrument cluster and replace the bulbs. Send me an e-mail address and I will copy the portions of the manual for you.

Exactly the same problem: the two dashboard lights don't work. Can I have the manual paragraph, please ?
In advance, thank you much.

I just had the light for my fuel gauge go out on my 02' silhouette, and my cluster was a sealed unit so I had to get a whole new cluster. Don't know if you can replace bulbs on the venture, they seem to be pretty similar in design.

AS a starter, read this:

.. it does not apply to your exact specific model though. I though there was a more relevant reference... will look for more

i pulled out my guage cluster last week to replace those lights. not that hard but you need to have a soldering irona and lead to do it.
the bulb in there are really hard to find but i just bought the closest match in size, i think it was part number 72.
I had to solder it in the circuit board. and not all light bulbs in there are LED. the ones that illumonate the guages are regular bulbs but they are soldered down.

you need to remove the bottom cover by the steering wheel and the cover at the radio and ac controls.
the main cover for the cluster dont have bolts and are only held in by retaining clips. its gonna be a little bit hard pulling it off coz the turn signa lever and shifter is on the way good thing the plastic they used is a little bit flexible, but just be carefull though.
Once you get that out of the way, there are 4 screw that hold the cluster to the dashboard. once you take that one off youl be suprise on how few and skinny the harness are ( 2 of them, 1 at each side).
once you got it out take it to a table where itll be easier for you to solder those bulbs.
pull the plastic cover off ( held by self clips)
then carefully remove the indicator arm ( mark them at thier original spot with a marker or something that can be erased)
then everything will come apart.
