Subaru Legacy Vibrationmks64 01-23-2007, 03:37 AM I have a subaru legacy 95, when car is in drive or reverse it vibrates when in park or N its ok, one mechanic said its my engine mounts but another said they are ok, also some times car might stall when stoped and then have trouble starting it please help it is driving me crazy :banghead: mks64 01-25-2007, 03:20 AM ok i found out my car was manual once(now is auto) could it be the transmission mounts that makes the car vibrate 4Wheel 01-26-2007, 09:02 PM Sounds like the thang is in a need of a tune up. Even if it were mounts it woud be a smooth constant torque. mks64 02-07-2007, 03:53 AM stalling and starting problem was Cam Angle Sensor fixed it but still vibrating Hesam 05-08-2007, 07:48 PM Cam-angle-sensor advice was just a scam by mechanic. You'll have to start by changing all 4 spark-plugs with NGK-Irridium brand, then 2nd step if that didn't fix it, is to get a set of spark-plug wires, then 3rd step is Distributor-Cap (some wires come attached to a new cap). 4th is Fuel-filter and 5th is Fuel-pump. If these 5 didn't fix it then wake up early and pray that dealer doesn't charge you $700 to fix it. Don't pay gas-station mechanics to dianose it, it'll take them much longer than the dealer, usually. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
