So I was checking out Nissan’s website and I noticed the new altima coupe, which is pretty cool looking. so here is my question, I am kind of new to the mechanical aspect of cars, usually just drive them, but I was curios, does anyone know if it is going to be front wheel drive or rear wheel drive, and also, if it is front wheel drive, is it possible to convert it to rear wheel drive easily? I am just curious if this is possible, correct me if i am wrong, but this is the motor that is in the maxima right(VQ35DE)? and also, i saw this motor (upgraded by nismo: called an S1, with a supercharger) put into a 350Z. so i was seeing if it is possible, maybe to replace to back end with 350 hardwear and a few other minor tweaks to see if it would work.

It is going to be FWD and unless your a very experienced fabricator, no it is not going to be easy to convert to RWD as the mounts, sub frame, unibody would all need to be changed and need to be at the proper angles.

Sucks huh....why doesn't someone make a small affordable 4 or 5 passenger car that is Rear Wheel Drive?!?!?!?
