My local dealers will not buy a full size van over 5 years old because they have hard time selling them. They said people are buying mini-vans over full size vans any more. My 1997 E-150 Van has only 65,000 miles on it but it is 10 years old. I like my van better then a pick-up or car any day.

I think you mean why DONT people want a full size van. It is just because the SUV craze is still going. a van is a good form of transportation when you either have many passengers, or if you have a big load to carry. one reason i really dont want one right now is because im only 15 and you try picking up a date in a full size van. Id rather pick her up in my 86 ford mustang gt i just bought today. besides this last sentence, i hope i answered your question. But full size vans do rock!:grinyes:

Can't pick up chicks in a van? At 16, i bought a 78 ford E150 extended cargo van. No AC, No windows in the back, 300 straight 6 with a 3 speed on the column that eventually turned into a 3 foot long shifter in the floor.. I got more action than some of the jocks...

best 125 bucks i ever spent (on the van)

The Dad's realy will not be happy having you come to pick up your girl in a van. :grinyes: :grinyes:

I know the feeling though. I have a 93 that I bought new. Well I realy dont have a use for it any more. Problem is it won;t sell. I dont want to give it away. Its in too nice shape, but I just dont need it. Kinda tough. So I just drive it.

I picked up my 98 e150 cargo van for 500 its high mileage but runs great had brand new tires and came with the shelves and ladder rack. had to take all that off since I use it as my work van as a pharmaceutical courier. i put new plugs and wires on it a decent stero and seats from a nicer van. but so far thats it. Im hopeing the 4.6 last tell 300000 miles. I never had good luck with a ford before but i just couldnt pass up this one.
