I have a 2002 Venture. The Power locks, windows, interior lights, automatic lock when in gear, and the radio working after you turn the key off all stopped. Anyone have an idea how I can get this working again?

Wiring was burned up on my 2000 Venture. It was the main wiring harness area. Will find out from shop exactly where and post for you. But from what I understand, there have been electrical issues with these cars! Mine just wouldnt start, but the turn signals wouldnt work right sometimes and thats why. Good luck!

This happened once over the summer. I was on a trip and had the windows down. I noticed when I stopped the van doors didn't unlock when I put it in park. I couldn't get the window back up either. I wanted to take it to a dealer but it was a holiday. I figured it would wait as long as it doesn't rain. I drove it around a couple of times. Then I noticed the van tried to unlock the doors when I stopped. Everything was back to normal for about 2 months. Then in the fall I it all stopped again. I could not understand how all the things are tied together. Fuses looked good. Maybe a relay? I can not tell if all these are tied to a single relay or how to tell if a relay is bad. I called the dealer but they won't do anything unless they hook it to a diagnostic computer for 94$ and that might give me a idea. I will take any ideas.

Check the BCM programming settings (it should be in the owner's manual) to make sure that the default settings haven't changed. All those features you talk about are adjustable via configuration of the BCM.

Worse case maybe the BCM or wiring to the BCM are going bad.

I'm still a GM Minivan newbie so excuse if my understanding is incorrect.
