Well I guess i could use some help. I recently bought a 1995 deville and i wanted to put in an aftermarket cd playe rin it because it only has tape stock. Well i consulted a local stereo shop and they said it used a normal GM wiring harness and thay would charge me 120$ so in an effort to save a few bucks i ran out to wal-mart and bought the harness and dash kit and sure enough it was for a 1995 deville but after wiring the harness to the cd player found out that it will not fit it doesn't have the bose system so i don't really know what my other options are.

second problem:

I live up near chicago soo long and short it gets DAMN COLD up here so i bought the rain-x window de-icer for my windshield washer fluid, so i ran all the blue stuff out and on the dash it says check ''windshield washer fluid''so i filled it up with the rain-x but it still reads check washer fluid it was about 10* outside when i did this so maybe it froze before i got a chance to put the other stuff in i don't know any help would be appreciated thanks.

I can't answer your first question. But the second one, I'll give it a try! The switch could be frozen in the down position. Try heating the fluid up a bit, and see if you can tap the top of the switch to get it to unstick. If that's not it, and it's not stuck down, the switch could just be bad.

I have a 94, and I ran into the same problem. I just ended up paying them to customize one for me, it seemed cheaper than my other options. And for what its worth, aftermarket system on that car, kinda pricey. So since your gonna pay, might as well not try and save 50 bucks, take it to someone that has experience, it can turn into a night mare. runaround Also, its heavily dependant on what size speakers you want, and what brand. Trust me, it went through it not too long ago. I got it now (lol). OH, and I didint have the Bose either.
