Hi, any answers will be greatly appreciated. I own a 86 13b. My 6th port Induction is stuck closed. My actuator is working fine. I tried to turn the butterfly valve and this was stuck. I'm thinking some carbon built up inside and stuck the plate closed. My question is can I take these plates out all togther. I know about wiring the ports open, but I'm not sure if taking the plates out would hurt anything. thanks

Pineapple racing has (or had) sleeves that just insert into the ports so they're open all the time.
