I have a 2002 3.9 v-6. It has been a great runner until recently it has got really poor mileage. I haver a 30 gallon tank and was getting 450 miles between fill ups. Now I am lucky to get 330 miles. It takes a lot of effort to start now and when it does it really smells like gas on the exaust end. Has anyone had simular probs with thiers. would love some help. Thanks

any codes??. you probably need to connect a fuel pressure gauge and do a leakdown

Is it a possibbility that it could be the o2 sensors? The truck has 111k on it.

is it a large emission leak a p0455, are you also having excessive oil comsumption??
