i work for a local Auto Zone... and we recently started carrying the new Bosch plug the iridium fusion... i havent heard a bad thing about them yet... but i am nervous to spend 60$ for bosch after the platinum 2 didnt work well in her... the platinum 4's are doin me great!!! got a lil deal for goin bosch... thats why i didnt go AC...

from my experience with bosch customers it seems like boshc is better in foreign cars, but our floor cleaning guy told us he loves them in his 1/2 ford and they have improved gas mileage a ton... bosch offers a non-publicized deal where if they dont improve gas mileage drasticly they will refund 100% and buy you new plugs!

any chances any of you have taken them up on this offer and are satisified???

Well they sure got you trained on Bosch.
But I know how that goes. My son in law used to work for AZ.

But from years of experience I have found that on a Blazer or any GM product AC Delco sparks plugs the good book calls for are the best.
Ford use Motor craft plugs and Cry use Mopar/champions plugs.
There is a very few exceptions where NGK and even a Bosch if called for as a factory plug.
But MT's normal procedure is drop Bosch in trash can and get the plugs the good book calls for.

Basically what you're telling us is that Bosch can't even give their spark plugs away? I'm with MT on this one! I've been a master tech for 30+ years and the only thing I'll install Bosch spark plugs in is the trashcan, right on top of the Fram filters, Pennzoil, Gabriel shocks and Firestone tires! I wouldn’t even give it to al-Qaeda or the Taliban, straight to the landfill! Now Bosch oxygen sensors, that’s a whole different story... best you can buy.

bosch plugs are junk. they have been know to crack/break apart. only use ac delcos in the 4.3. if its a 96+ then use ac platinum plugs #41-932. they run about $40 for a set. if its older than 96 than use standard ac delco's.

With some pretty good personal testing, I've concluded that the Bosch plugs are the best for most vehicles. I'm not a master tech but I do have a degree in automotive technology, worked on cars since I was 8 and have put who knows how many hundreds of thousands of miles behind me. I used to use regular A/C Delco plugs (tested about every brand out there) which worked good for ordinary plugs and usually gave around 40,000 + miles on them. When Bosch came out with platinum plus II plugs, I got those and put 60,000 miles on them in my Neon. They were still good when I took them out plus they added a noticeable difference in fuel economy. At 60,000 miles, I put in platinum plus 4 plugs in and replaced at 120,000 miles. Those were still good when I changed them. I change plugs every 60,000 even if it needs them or not. I was getting a 41 MPG average with those plugs. Stock MPG was 36. And no, it wasn't magic fuel that caused that. In 2003, I bought a 2001 Jeep Cherokee with 57,000 miles on it. The first thing I did was put bosch platinum plus 4 plugs in it. I get 20+ MPG on the highway (snow tires aren't helping). 17 MPG with stock platinum plugs that were in it originally. Now, at 124,000 miles, I'm putting in IR Fusion plugs. They probably don't need to be changed but I want to see how these new plugs do. Do what you want, take advise from others but I know what testing I've done and have seen a noticeable difference in my personal vehicles compared to other plugs. And I've tried just about every plug that is out there. If you still don't want Bosch, at least get some kind of platinum plug, they will last a lot longer than ordinary plugs.
