Thor's Car Progress Thread: '90 TSI AWD project, parts cars, and the Cavy. 56k death!Thor06 01-07-2007, 11:51 AM EDITED 3/15/08: This is the project thread for my baby, the Purple People Eater. The plans are to make it a stock appearing "sleeper" sort of car. I got it in March of 2006 and have collectively put 1150 miles on it. I've spent a gross amount of time working on it, I estimated that I've put in around 20 minutes of work (either on this car or one of the parts cars for it) for every mile I've driven in it. The car was not taken care of before I got it, as made evident by the fact that I've been over every single part under the hood of the car and many everywhere else. I wont stop until this car is perfect, which will be a loooong time. :) My baby is going to be transformed into a stock appearing street car bent on nothing but total street domination ;). Only kidding, its going to be a fun car for me to work on at night and cruise in on the weekends. I'll probably take it to the tracks once in a while, but its largely going to be a fun weekend car. Sounds like a decent plan you have outlined there. Ready to see some pics. I need to do an update on my car also...hmm Thor06 01-07-2007, 07:48 PM As promised, heres the pictures! This is the car after I finally got the head gasket done. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p101/Thor06/talonalldone001.jpg Here is working on the Talon after I spun a bearing. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p101/Thor06/turbo001.jpg Here is the parts car getting the engine pulled to get rebuilt for the purple car. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p101/Thor06/8-1.jpg Moving the bottom end from the parts car. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p101/Thor06/17.jpg Bottom end getting pulled apart. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p101/Thor06/100_0079.jpg Stock pistons/rods. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p101/Thor06/100_0081.jpg The Eagle/Ross combo :D. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p101/Thor06/bottomend.jpg blk_srt 01-12-2007, 09:27 PM Looking good man Thor06 01-31-2007, 12:41 PM Heres an update for you guys. Operation: Dorm Room Rebuild commences! Yesterday I had some time and I got the bottom end ripped the rest of the way apart. It looked good, the bearings didnt have any crazy signs of wear and there was hardly any endplay (though I didnt measure it). I dont think the crank needs to be ground, I did the penny trick and all checked out fine. I am hoping for the best, hopefully all the bottom end needs is a re bore (pistons are .020 over). I am looking forward to the rebuild. I think I am going to have the bottom end and top end done at different times, mostly so I can spread out the cost. I cant wait to get that bitch on the road! Anyway, heres a couple pics. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p101/Thor06/100_0120.jpg Heres my new tools. I was sorta happy and sad to get them dirty for the first time. I think its a 155 pc and it was like 35% off. I like them a lot. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p101/Thor06/100_0128.jpg Theres my sitting in my lofted bed looking down on the floor. Yes, this is happening in my dorm. Its a good time. I was super careful though, not a spot of grease hit the carpet. All the work was done on cardboard or the lid to the box its being stored in. Its sort of a pain though, I think I am going to have to get a engine stand to do the build. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p101/Thor06/100_0129.jpg Closer up of the block/head. blk_srt 01-31-2007, 02:26 PM looking good man NOFX0617 02-01-2007, 01:49 AM Thats awesome that you are doing that in a dorm room. That is talent my friend. Good luck. Thor06 02-21-2007, 09:16 PM Well, after a lot of thought I have decided to alter my plans. I realized I cant afford my 500 whp goals so I gotta be happy with a more normal car. I am limiting myself to the a 190 and internal gating. I will stick on the Big 16g until she blows in which case I will get an Evo III 16g. My new plans have cut a lot off the cost of my build, no more built tranny, expensive turbo, AFPR, external gate, big injectors, 4 bolt rear, etc. My new plan is not raging track monster, more moderate street terror :p. Heres the new plan: Sooner -Stock engine with my FP2's -Stock flywheel? -ACT 2100 or Exedy Stage II -Big 16g until it blows then Evo III 16g -3" exhaust -FMIC -Stuff to keep an eye on the engine (link, guages, etc) -190 -650cc injectors -strut bars Later -meth/h20 injection -lowering stuff, either GC's with AGX's or Sportlines with AGX's -alarm system -tint -decently good sounding and boomy sound system -stiffer sway bars Last thing -paint -interior (seats, 4/5pt harness, etc) Goals -300+ whp -low 12's at the track -Just fuckin shit up street style :p I figure that way I dont have to build the shit out of everything and attaining my goal will be far easier. Also, I added a few things, namely the suspension stuff. I always wanted to lower it, but handling doesnt matter a whole lot to me. Well, oddly enough, I was inspired by Buschur's time attack Evo. He was featured in Modified Mag's March issue. Though hes been known to be a douche and his shit seems WAYYY over priced, I took a lot from that Evo. I realized to be a sweet car, you dont really have to be a fuckin crazy high power car to still be fun. And since I cant always have straight line fun but I can always have fun, I decided to alter my plans a bit. I still want it to be a higher HP car, by higher I mean as much as I can squeeze from the Big 16g and Evo III 16g when its gets there. I wil be running meth/water injection later so hopefully I can eventually be running decent numbers on pump. Since I have gone more towards the "street" car than the track car, I would like some luxuries I was going to cut out. Since the AC system is completely gone and since I dont plan on driving it during the summer, the heat and AC are going. Those are for pussies anyway :p. I think cruise control is going to stay, but mostly because I dont want to have to fine a non-CC throttle cable. I still wont use it. I have decided that I want to put a system in it. Being a street car and all, I would still like to be able to jam out a bit. I am going to put in probably one sub and one amp to drive it and run the speakers off of deck power. I am going to make a quick detach for the sub box and mount the amp to it so that when I need to ditch it for track use, it wont be hard. Also, that shit is going to be obviously locked the fuck down, no one will be havin my shit. Tint will happen sometime before during or shortly thereafter to help stop theivery. Oh, and an alarm, that will happen same time as the system. Ok, so thats luxury fun and power fun, what else is there? The one I have been neglecting for so long! TWISTY FUN! Thats really what inspired me about Buschur's Evo, I realized I can drop just a couple hundred extra for sway bars and strut braces and have a fairly curve worthy machine. I know DSM's (particularly 1g's) have been known for their crappy handling, but I think with some lower and stiffer suspension, front and rear strut tower braces, and some heavier sway bars, I can make this thing attack corners a bit better. Hell, just suspension did a shit ton for the Cavy and the DSM will be getting better stuff. I know it wont exactly be an autox machine but I know it will hold the road fairly well. I am excited about this even more now with my suspension ideas. I sort of arranged it into "stages" like in NFSU, that way I can sort of take it a bit at a time with everything. I think I am going to try to tackle the list in summers, Sooner being this summer, Later being next summer, and Last being the summer after that. We'll see how it goes though, obviously if I can get a good deal on something or cant find a deal on something else, I will have to switch around the order. I cant wait! Killing corners, smashing straight aways, and pounding pavement. Anyway, I am done rambling. blk_srt 02-21-2007, 09:23 PM Since I have gone more towards the "street" car than the track car, I would like some luxuries I was going to cut out. Good luck... Thor06 07-08-2007, 09:08 AM Well guys, after a breif lapse, I am back to workin on the project. Parents wanted me to get rid of it, but I cant. I'll just take it slow. Since I love planning and shit, heres the new list of parts. * = have, the rest I need to get yet. Engine/Performance -Stock 6 bolt bottom end* -Semi built head, FP2 cams*, possibly beefier springs/retainers -Walbro 255, some aftermarket FPR, bigger injectors (probably like 750's or 850's), running E85 -DSMlink or maybe Greddy Emanage Ultimate -Extrude honed intake mani* -FP exhaust mani*, ported o2 housing*, 3" turbo back exhaust* -FMIC, Type RS or SSQV -Evo III 16g -5" tach, oil pressure, boost, water temp, and various other guages Drivetrain -sprung 6 puck ACT 2100 or a Exedy stage II -4 bolt rear if/when the 3 bolt blows Suspension -Ground Control coilovers with KYB AGX shocks -Front and rear strut bars -Rear sway bar Brakes -possibly putting the early 95 slotted rear brakes in* -2g AWD big brakes up front* Rollers -300zx rims, repainted black or gunmetal, once the Yokos burn off I'll be rocking the cheapest decent performance tires I can get* Interior -Racing seats, 4 pt harness, and harness bar -CD player, component speakers up front, coaxial 6x9's in back, 1 10 or 12 -Possible entirely flat black interior, keep 'er low key -Random purple neons (yep I am a ricer) Exterior -Painted like stock, repainted stock purple with the silver stripe on the bottom -Like 25% tint -Purple underbodies (ricer again, I know but I dont care) So yeah, basically I am going to keep working at it and hopefully a year or two after college I will have my dream car! Hopefully on the E85 I can be running near maxed out all day everyday and be decimating the competition. When its done I am going to try to get it in a magazine and enter it in a few shows but probably I will just end up tearing up back country roads and Mustangs from a light all day :p. I'll keep ya'll updated as stuff happens. 2.3L_turbo 10-03-2007, 10:58 AM nice talon dood i have one to its the exact same color and averthing but i was wondering if u had any sugestions on chap power aders though lol thanks kittay 11-23-2007, 02:40 PM Why so big of injectors? I realize you want to run E85, but you're still wanting to run a 16g right? Have you checked out the sleeper 16gs? Thor06 11-24-2007, 12:05 AM Well, I am just going to need 850s. My plans have been bobbling recently and I have decided to stray from the 18g or bastard 20g and stay with a 16g variant. I've been a bit busy with my website (just making a site for my car club) and I just havent updated this one. Since the Evo III 16g maxes out at 39 lbs/min and since the E85 needs more fuel, it needs more injector. The table found here (http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-tuning-ecu/253452-e85-injector-max-lb-min-calculations.html) tells of the max airflow different injectors. The 850 max at like 47 lbs/min, but since you dont want to go over 85% IDC, they work perfect for 39 lbs/min. Like I said, I have looked at the 18g's and bastard 20g's and all that, but I am going to go with an Evo III 16g to keep cost down. I am going to be acquiring direct port nitrous here next week so the extra few cfm's wont be too much needed :). kittay 11-24-2007, 11:24 AM Well, I am just going to need 850s. In the summer, I'm running 750s w/ the e316g on E85. I haven't even came close to maxing those. I was running 650s at 70% duty cycle. Since then, I added quite a bit more timing (24-25 degrees), tuned it better, and turned the boost up (had it tuned to zero knock at 24psi). So I'm probably around 60% IDC on the 750s. Thor06 02-13-2008, 07:27 PM So Thor came to a decision on the car... shes getting put on hold. :( I am moving off campus next year and will be moving to Minneapolis for all year. One car has to go bye bye. After a lot of objective thought, I have kind of decided to keep the Talon. The Cavy is still worth a pretty good chunk of money whereas the Talon is worth like $1800 on a good day, plus the Talon is better on gas (!!!) and cheaper on insurance. There will be a lot of preventative maintainence and fixing going on this summer, and if she can make it a few thousand miles and never break down on me, the Cavy will get sold for rent money so I am not under such a strain over the school year. I am going to leave the exhaust, IM, exhaust mani, 16g, etc, on it, but the cams, ARP's, and other stuff that I have yet to put on will be sold as well. She'll be set at 10 psi and not raced. The only mods I am going to do any more are going to be suspension related (lowering, strut bars, etc), gas mileage related (chalking the supra SMIC and hard pipes up as one of those :P), maintainence related (pocket logger and WB02) or visual like smoked tails, fixing body damage, sound system, etc. She wont see above 4.5k rpms or 70 mph unless I am passing :(. I think its for the best though. Anyway, just thought I would let ya'll know. JoeShmoe 02-13-2008, 10:22 PM Thats not cool, well, you plan to work on the purple people eater a year from now? Well atleast you're putting school over it. GL SilvrEclipse 02-13-2008, 10:59 PM Just give it time. Once your out of school you should have plenty of money to dump into the car. gthompson97 02-14-2008, 11:07 AM Bah. You'll get the bug back about June'ish and will be back modding that bitch before school. I know you Dustin, you go in and out of modding like a two cent.......nevermind...you get the point. Thor06 05-23-2008, 12:50 PM Well, I got the DSM out of storage yesterday and it felt GREAT to drive it again! I am going to mod it this summer, and I am going to start soon. Due to some shitty money situations I had to dip into the car fund for some new running shoes, but I still have $150 towards DSMlink. I still have a lot to sell, so hopefully I can snag almost all of my parts before too long. I am heading over to the shop tonight to unload the car (put all my spare parts in it) and take pictures of stuff to sell, then I'll put a gang of it up on Craigslist, tuners, trader, and here. I am also going to switch the rims on the Cavy from the 17's to the steelies so I can clean up the 17's and sell them. Hell there's guy in town with a Cavalier with an unpainted body kit, maybe he wants my lowering shit? I start work on Tuesday and I'd really like to get all of my "in the closet" parts in the car so all I have to do is button it back up. I am a pretty weary of driving the car on the 16g and cams with no DSMlink, but I need to break in the clutch anyway, so it wont be revved out or beaten on for a while. Hopefully I can sell enough shit soon enough so that when I do get it all back together I have DSMlink on the way. Hopefully my spare parts can carry me through everything on my modlist and partway into the 50 trim, then I think an early birthday present will be in order. :D kittay 05-23-2008, 01:04 PM .. Why not pick up Ostrich? For 175$ http://www.moates.net/product_info.php?cPath=50&products_id=169 Thor06 06-02-2008, 12:10 AM I'd just rather go with the tried and true. I went out to the shop today and I really got a lot done. I got out there around 12:30 and managed to get the tranny the rest of the way pulled and got the clutch and flywheel off. I was going to put it back on, but I had no locktite for the threads so that will have to happen later. I also found out that the 2100 wasnt a 2100 at all, just a knock off. Oh well, the 2600 is going in now. :) I havent started on the cam operation yet, I intended on getting the clutch and flywheel in before I did. I may end up putting in some over time tomorrow, but if I dont work then I think I will go back out to the shop, put the clutch and flywheel in, clean up the tranny, and try to get the alternator, PS pump, and water pump pulley off. I During this next week I'd like to get the cams in, clutch/flyweel in, 255 in, and get the center diff welded so that next weekend I can get it all back together and hopefully start breaking in the clutch a week from today. With any luck I will be able to afford DSMlink within the next week or so, so that is going to be huge. If the rims sell DSMlink and the injectors will be here shortly, then the fun time comes. :) I am going to start work on two projects tomorrow or the next day, I'm doing the "dodge garage" 1g BOV mod with a twist and I am going to rig up a sweet 2 stage boost controller. I'm pretty excited about them, I'll do writeups on those once they get done. Pics to come once imageshack stops being gay. Thor06 06-03-2008, 06:25 PM Finally some pics. Yo dirty girl, yo dirty girl..." lol Thor06 06-06-2008, 09:46 PM ! Jesus guys, I leave you alone for one minute.... ;) Quick update. Work got rained out today, so I got to spend a few hours in the shop. Got some thread locker and got the flywheel in as well as the clutch, but the clutch was a pain the ass and a half! We got 'er figured out though. I got all the accessory shit stripped off and got the stock cams out, the FP2's are sitting in the cam cradles. I didnt get them bolted in yet though, I dont have any extra oil and I wanted to lube them up before putting them in. I also couldnt get the fucking last bolt on the fuel pump cover, so I put some JB Weld on it and put the 8mm over it and I'm letting it cure over night. I am headed out there tomorrow and that hoe will come out. Thats about it, tomorrow I'll get the cams in and that whole side of the motor buttoned up, get the tranny cleaned and apart and get the center diff out, then the pumps changed, and maybe get the cables for the battery relocation done. If I get lucky I can weld the diff on Sunday maybe get the whole thing together. I should also say that DSMlink will be ordered by Monday night so I can have it here for next weekend. :D Thor06 06-08-2008, 10:21 PM Another quick update, again no pics. Nothing too interesting to picture yet. Yesterday I got the cams in and timing reset, as well as that whole side of the motor buttoned up. Today I took a grinder to that stuck nut on the fuel pump cover and ground it the fuck off, then got the 255 in. Is the stock pump substantially larger than a Walbro 255? The one I took out was, but I couldnt find any markings or anything on it. After that I went to work on getting the tranny in, and did. I was going to get the rest of it done today too, but my friend came to the shop and we ended up doing our biweekly pipe smoke session and I lost all motivation to get it done. I have maybe like 3-4 hours of easy work left and it would have been nice to get done. I dont have any replacement tranny fluid anyway, so its going to have to wait until later this week. My aim is Wednesday, but with any luck I'll roll out of there tomorrow. I think I may be doing an in car computer project soon enough as well. My buddy has a computer with wireless card, keyboard, and mouse that he said I can have, so all I would need is a flatscreen monitor. I dont know though, I'm thinking it might just be extra dead weight when my laptop will work just fine. We'll see. Thor06 06-19-2008, 02:13 AM So here I am whoring my own thread again, but I thought I should update. I did get it up and running Sunday, and to my excitement everything worked fine. I was a little scared that I bent some valves, but everything works just fine. I got the battery relocation done too, which made me happy. I'll post some pics on that later. I havent been able to do a good pull because of the 450's but it seems to run good. I got DSMlink today, but it didnt come with the socket so I need to order one of those, plus nowhere in town has a DB9 to USB adapter either. Oh well, I've got all summer. :) I've relisted some parts and have a lot of interest again, plus a check coming hopefully Friday or Monday. I should be able to afford injectors soon enough, after that comes the JAW. I was kinda pumped on nitrous there for a bit, mostly because I thought it would be cheaper than a 50 trim but also to retain some form of "sleeper" aspect of the stock appearing turbo. What I realized today is that a used wet kit and bottle heater will be upwards of $300, plus then $35-$50 to fill a 10 lb tank. I figure a 75 shot at like 15 seconds per usage and a 10 lb tank will yeild like 9-10 sprays per tank, or 10-12 if I spray for less time. The way I see it, I'd only have to fill it like 4 times and I might as well have bought a 50 trim and had the power on tap all of the time. The other thing is that with a 50 trim I can sell my 16g to reclaim some of that money. Anyway, I'm back to my 50 trim plan, for now atleast. I appologize for the lack of pictures, I've been meaning to take some every day since Sunday but it just never works out. One of these days. Thor06 07-09-2008, 11:42 PM Well, I just thought I would update you all again. I've been kind of busy the past couple weeks. :) First off, I changed tranny fluid not long ago. I was just running some generic 85w-140 gear lube from Auto Value, it worked ok until it got warm and then I'd hardly be able to shift. After doing a lot of reading I came to the following conclusions: A) BG Synchroshift: got the best reviews B) GM/Pennzoil Synchromesh: got mixed reviews, some people liked it some people didnt and had the same problem with it as I did with the Auto Value stuff, C) Royal Purple Synchromax: no where near as many users and not all the reviews were excellent, but none were bad. The BG stuff was nowhere to be had, and I decided to go with the Royal Purple. The reviews were right, it was a HUGE improvement, but the inherent DSM notchiness was still there. I was quite pleasantly suprised to see that it was purple in color as well. :) As many of you know I have DSMlink and am in the process of starting to get it tuned. I got the 1000cc injectors in and started having horrible trouble with knock, which was later found to be phantom knock most likely from lifter tick. I havent actually started to play with fuel and timing sliders because I am waiting on a wideband before I do that. Today I turned up the boost. I was under the impression that one revolution on the MBC was 1 psi and I was set at like 11. I gave it like 4 turns and sure enough I had to let off when it hit 20 psi and it was still going. I backed it out a bit and found it at 17 psi, just what I was looking for. So I went for a drive watching logs and making sure that it was infact phantom knock I had and I decided to go do a WOT pull. I went about a mile and a half from home and let it rip. I got full boost a little later, but I think that is normal with cams. I got my customary ~4k knock but nothing in the higher RPM's. I got 'er revved out to almost 7k flat and ended up topping out a 95 MPH, which was scary as hell for me. I've babied the Talon until now and the Cavy is pissed going over 65, so I get a little shakey at the end. :) I was getting over 30 lbs/min starting at 5.8k and maxed at 33.4 lbs/min. Its kind of nice knowing that I am not going to have to boost the nuts off of it to max it out, its only got another 5 lbs/min or so left in it. I think I am starting to overrun the 1g MAF, the MAFRaw was not particularly smooth but once I hit about 2100 hz it was jumping all the hell over. It definately needs a tune, but its kind of nice to know how much ass it can haul. ;) I'm thinking that I need to get the intake side of the motor taken better care of, I am still on the stock SMIC, IC popes, and intake hose. I think that is the next part on the to do list. I am going to be able to get a 2g MAF locally, so that will help. I am going to make another Home Depot intake again, rather than deal with that goofy intake hose. I have that FMIC core too, I think I am just going to snag a 2g TB elbow, some aftermarket J pipe, and a universal IC pipe kit on eBay. Now hopefully I can get all that and the wideband done before the north meet! Blackcrow64 07-10-2008, 06:58 AM Wow... Brian needs cliff notes bad... Eh... Maybe next time... ned032002 07-10-2008, 10:09 AM We need to see some pics of this warlock Thor06 07-21-2008, 12:03 AM Warlock eh? Thats a good word Ned, thanks. I do have a couple pictures of pretty much how it sits now. Hopefully soon it will go through some bigger changes and I'll post up pics of that. Here's from the photoshoot of a couple weeks ago... http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/907/1001102jc1.jpg (http://imageshack.us) http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/333/1001104md8.jpg (http://imageshack.us) http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/637/1001105ux8.jpg (http://imageshack.us) Battery relocation: http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/3499/1001106qx4.jpg (http://imageshack.us) Messy ass engine bay: http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/5105/1001108hx1.jpg (http://imageshack.us) And heres the shop :): http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/7528/1001110hm1.jpg (http://imageshack.us) Quick update on the beast. I ordered a 2g TB elbow and the 2nd MBC for my DIY 2 stage MBC that should be here tomorrow, and I'll be getting a J-pipe from Tim at the MN meet. I also ordered my JAW today and will order FMIC pipes and a MAP sensor tomorrow. That should round out everything I need to get it tuned good and hopefully by the first of August I will have it all ready to fuck some hoes up! ;) I am going to do an oil change and check the spark plugs this week before I head to Minneapolis for the meet, and I should do a boost leak test. I just found out that BIR has a Wednesday Night street legal drag night on August 27th and I am definately planning to go check it out. Hopefully she is running straight by then! I'll get some pics up after the FMIC, MAP, and some tuning. Thor06 08-06-2008, 11:21 PM Small update. As some of you probably know, I was thinking about scrapping the Talon project. I've been doing a lot of thinking and I've put too much money and time into this to get soft 3 weeks before the end of summer. I was also thinking about selling it this fall once its running, but I'm about 90% sure I decided to fuck that idea too. I'll just put it in storage until I get a spot to work on it. I have it all the way I want it and I think some people wouldnt like it that way. So yesterday I started ripping into it to get it ready for the last couple weeks of summer, and the Street Legal Drags on the 27th. First things first, I need to fix the problems the car has which include: thermostat, oil change, put in the new fuel filter, change the front tires, and have it aligned. Though its not too pertinent, I decided I should figure out why my pop ups arent going down, why the power door locks and mirrors dont work, and get my interior back together. After that, the speed shit I need is the MAP sensor, WB oxygen sensor, and the IC pipes. Though I think I am going to stay with a 195* thermostat, we fucked up the old wires on the cooling fan so I wired the AC fan to come on at the same time as the cooling fan. I got the old IC system ripped out and I got the 2g TB elbow and the J-pipe in too. The big thing I did in the past couple days is rip the dash out and finish my deletion of the sound/ac/heating systems. I still have the heater core to get out, as well as the misc shit on the driver's side, but I got all the air ducts out and blower. What I really wish I could do is have DSMlink V3 come out then tear the whole car down and completely rewire it for speed density in the route I want it with the various things where I want them, but I dont have the time or the money for all that wire. The plan is to spend like 2 hours out there a day getting shit ready. I wont order the IC pipes until timorrow, so hopefully I will have thme like this time next week. I will get the MAP sensor wired in as soon as the PayPal transfer to my check cad goes through. I plan to finish taking shit I dont want out from the dash tomorrow and start troubleshooting the rest of the wiring tomorrow, and hopefully by the end of the weekend I will have everything done except putting the bung in the down pipe and routing the IC pipes. Here's a couple pics. And about time you get the dash fixed. That was worse than ass. tfoti 08-07-2008, 06:20 PM I like the J-Pipe. Did you get the one bolt tight on the right side? Thor06 08-07-2008, 07:21 PM Shut up Dave... you're worse than ass! ;) Yeah I know it was kind of embarassing showing it to you guys, and I didnt realize how nice it looked until I ripped all the shit out and mocked it up on the garage floor. Tim, fuck no! I want to go to Punishment's shop and kick whoever did that shit in the nads! I dont know what the hell I am going to do about it either, I think a vice grips is about all thats going to get that tight... I cant fit the Allen wrench in there. tfoti 08-07-2008, 08:44 PM I think mine was stubby enough to fit it in there, but yeah, it really pissed me off too. vanilla gorilla 08-07-2008, 11:42 PM That cavy is ugly as shit with steelies.....make you not want to drive it. Talon is lookin pimp though. DSMadman 10-28-2008, 03:26 PM ^he is right. Talon is nice vBulletin®, Copyright ©2010, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
