1994 Bravada IdleLas_kid 01-03-2007, 06:19 PM Help….I have changed everything I can think of: Spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, Egr valve, Cht sensor, Throttle body sensor, O2 sensor, cleaned map sensor, :banghead: Truck runs great at highway speeds. However at a stop light, after a very short time acts as though its running rich, then idle becomes rough like isn’t running on all cylinders, Never completely stalls. No computer codes. Light changes color get going down road all is ok. All I can think is a fuel pressure problem or a leaking injector anyone have any ideas?:nono: Thx Ron:popcorn: Chris Stewart 01-03-2007, 06:33 PM Does it start easy cold but hard to start hot? ericn1300 01-03-2007, 08:59 PM what do mean by the "light changes Color"? does the service engine soon light come on? if so get the codes read at AutoZone nad post them here. also change out the PCV valve, should be done on every tuneup. it keeps crankcase gases out of the combustion process until the vaccum increases with rpm. if stuck open it will allow hard to burn crankcase gases to enter the combustion process at low rpms causing a rough idle. i think it's about $2 and PCV valve cleaner spray is about $9, never could figure that one out. Las_kid 01-03-2007, 09:35 PM Sorry left out have changed PVC valve, and Truck starting isnt a problem hot or cold, the problem is only at low idle, now about to try an ignition control module, good news is im running out of parts to change.:banghead: thx for help all.
