I was just curious as to the nature of why you are changing those out? I just purchased the 04 G35 6 speed last night and I've noticed theres a a vibration or tapping type feeling when letting off the clutch in pretty much any gear. I took it back to the dealer this morning and the service guy drove it and told me that he knew what I was talking about and it was perfectly normal for these cars with the racing clutches in them to feel that way. I was told if they had another one on the lot to try that one and see if it did the same thing, but they didn't so I drove the 350z which is pretty much identical. The guy told me when I got in it that this one probably wouldn't be as noticable as the infiniti because the clutch wasn't as hard. I did notice the same thing just not as much as he said. It just really worried me being that I just purchased it and all so I was wondering if you had some of the same issues and thats why you were changing that or if your just doing for yourself. Any feedback on this would be much appreciated.
Thanks

it is called clutch chatter and usually OEM clutches do not have this problem as bad, but it really isnt a problem. the more performance oriented the car, the better chance that the clutch will chatter. i do not know if this is normal with an OEM G35 clutch. if you search the web i am sure there is an answer saying this is normal.

What would be a good place to check that out. I pretty new to the whole talking to people online about stuff, I could work on the car better than I can do this. So any help would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Ashley

this would be a good place to start. it is the largest 350z forum on the net. if you browse through post history over there, i am sure the topic has been covered. If not, simply start a new thread and ask, stating that you searched the forum but found no definite answer. good luck!
