Auto to Manual partssageuvagony 01-03-2007, 08:48 AM I am doing a Auto to Manual swap... blah...I have many of the parts. I have found about 6 sellers on ebay who have ALL of the rest of the parts that I need and I keep asking them how much they want. They keep asking me to offer. AHH! I don't have a clue around how much I should expect to pay for everything else I need. They mostly advise me to buy the stainless steel lines since they work better which I will do since they are dirt cheap to me on ebay. I'm going for a new clutch as well even though this one's fairly new. Just very rusty-ish... Anyone have any ideas? What's too lil and too much to offer? They even have the ECU which I am going to need as well. The only thing here I know I will need from somewhere else is a custom bottom mount since I'm told the auto mount isn't the same. So far this swap has cost me $20 (pedals) I already had all the other parts sitting in my shed. All this came with my engine when I bought it. Tranny has 36,000 miles on it. Imagine paying $400 for Engine+tranny+ ALL accessories included with only 36,000 miles on it. I ended up selling the exhaust manifold for this engine which I didnt need for 280 on ebay!! What a way to get ur money back. I started the auction at 1 dollar! Anyway... My friend will do the complete swap for me for $200 or only $100 if I install only the tranny myself and he takes care of the rest. Here is a pic of what I have already. Remember.. I have only invested $20 in this swap so far and have all this. I pretty much need the Master/slave cylinders, lines, linkage, shifter, console, ecu, and whatever is missing from this pic. Thanks! http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b197/sageuvagonyx/tranny.jpg CivicSpoon 01-03-2007, 01:50 PM http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1316692 - Make sure to read the whole thread, there are other stuff listed that aren't in the first post. And it's the Passenger side mount that needs to be changed out. The mount bracket (that's physically welded to the chassis) is either pushed back or forward from where a car that was originally equiped with a manual transmission is. This is the mount you'll need: http://hasport.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=27_31&products_id=115 And this is what I found for wiring up your reverse lights: http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1272511 sageuvagony 01-04-2007, 07:48 AM Any idea how much I should offer though? I just got emailed again today by another seller asking how much I'd be willing to pay for those remaining parts. Thanks for that info BTW CivicSpoon 01-04-2007, 06:38 PM i have no clue, I'm horrible at pricing stuff. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
