Hi all, can anyone tell me if there is a procedure for disabling the beltminder that beeps at you and the passenger for not having your seat belt on? Thank you

You could clip junk yard buckles into the latches and leave them there. I wouldn't 'modify' the seatbelt warning wiring on a 2006, nor would I go without a seatbelt for me or anyone riding front/back in my vehicles, but I'm sure you don't need that lecture.

I only ask if there is a procedure because on the newer Ford Crown vics I get there is a procedure in the manual to disable the belt minder.

It's not that I don't wear a belt it's just that I don't want my vehicle to yell at me that I have to.
