Its located on top of the bellhousing area I have a 2001 so mine differs a little. But its located on the bell housing area.. Tried to locate the part online could not find one so it may be a dealer item.. It should be a easy replacement..I would first take some electrical contact cleaner and clean and inspect the connection. If that does not work then replace it.. Hope this helps.. Keep the tranny fluid changed. Mine started sliping when I first got it .changed the fluid and it being doing fine ever since. So now I keep the fluid changed about once a year...Dealer fluid exchange. Not flush and fill.. I need to change my filter sometime soon.. Post back results... thanks, Gary garync1 12-31-2006, 08:14 AM I did some looking as far as the location of the range sensor. looks easy to get too if you pull your air filter assembley from the throttle body to the air box out.. It location area is from looking down to the master cylinder area to the throttle body area just below, on top of the tranny.. not hard to fine at all.. wiswind 01-01-2007, 01:47 AM This part is called Transmission Range Sensor (TRS) and Neutral Safety switch......and both are the same part. You should be able to get one from Autozone www.autozone.com or Advance Auto parts, or Checker www.partsamerica.com . I have it shown in one of my pictures......"Under the air filter....." garync1 01-03-2007, 09:44 AM kidlex01 did you get your problem solved????? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
