oil pan removal and replacement

i started removal of my old oil pan on my 1999 chevy venture and got stuck. i disconnected all the motor mounts, removed the ac unit, and raised the engine as far as it would go but still can get the oil pan out. any tips that would help me out would be greatly appreciated.
